This is the privacy statement of Blitz Group Limited. This statement is applicable to companies who are currently clients or suppliers with our organisation and explains how we collect and use information about you.

In order for us to fulfill our duties as company, we may need to collect the following types of data:

While all precautions have been undertaken to ensure only genuine downloads are available, users are advised to verify their authenticity using third party anti-virus software or similar applications.

We accept no responsibility for third party downloads and downloads provided by external third party websites.


Social Media Usage

We strive to ensure our business and our staff conduct themselves accordingly online. While we may have official profiles on social media platforms, users are advised to verify authenticity of such profiles before engaging with them and more importantly, before sharing personal data. We will never ask for user passwords or personal details on social media platforms.

There may be instances where our website features social sharing buttons which help share web content directly from web pages to the respective social media platforms. You use social sharing buttons at your own discretion and accept that doing so may publish content to your social media profile feed or page.


Data Subject Rights

Data Subjects have certain right provided to them under the GDPR, including the entitlement to request information on what personal data the Company holds about them in paper or electronic format (a subject access request).

In the event that any direct marketing is undertaken by us you have an absolute right to request that you are removed from any further marketing campaigns. In which case, please send a written request to info@blitzgroup.co.uk and we will aim to remove you from our mailing list within one month of your request.


If you do not provide your business information

If the information we request is not provided we will be unable to provide or request services for or from you. Therefore it is imperative that all information required is given to enable us to process the information.


How long we retain your personal information for

As required by HMRC, we shall maintain records for a minimum of 6 years. After this time any information we hold that is older that this may be securely disposed.


Holding Business information outside the EEA

We currently do not hold any information outside the EEC. Your rights with regard to information we hold regarding you as clients or suppliers

Access to your information
You have the right to request a copy of the business information about you that we hold.

Correcting your information
We want to make sure that your business information is accurate, complete and up to date and you may ask us to correct any business information about you that you believe does not meet these standards.

Deletion of your information
You have the right to ask us to delete business information about you where:

• You consider that we no longer require the information for the purposes for which it was obtained.

• Our use of your business information is contrary to law or our other legal obligations.


Objecting to how we may use your information

Where we use your business information to perform tasks carried out in the public interest then, if you ask us to, we will stop using that business information unless there are overriding legitimate grounds to continue.


Restricting how we may use your information

In some cases, you may ask us to restrict how we use your business information.
